This is the interior design project for a 65 square meter apartment located in Chisinau. After the previous discussion with the owner, we chose to approach a contemporary style with pastel color accents.
For the living area we opted for an open area that would include the kitchen, the dining room and the living room, subtly differentiated, in which natural colors were used that we chose to build with bright accents. The taupe colored furniture in the kitchen has a simple L-shaped design and occupies most of a wall in order to save as much space. The refrigerator was perfectly integrated into the furniture structure.
The kitchen area is extended with the dining area, which is separated from the living room, the last area of this room, with the help of a bar type table.
The white walls and taupe, with creamy curtains, in tone with the decorative stone of the living room wall, make the space unitary and bright in which any color spot feels full.
The lighting is designed for different scenarios during the day.
The bedroom is arranged similar to the living area, with white walls and taupe, which contrasts perfectly with the neighboring furniture. To give a note of the elegance of the room and to save the space on the bedside table, we chose bright shelves on the ceiling and a suspended lighting.
In the bathroom and toilet we used a neutral color palette that adds extra brightness to the rooms. We chose natural materials such as travertine and marble that make up the color scheme on the wall.
The pictures with the pyramids and the Egyptian desert in the bedroom and living room that respect the natural color palette used in the rest of the apartment create a chromatic unit and anonymously remove the arrangement, creating a state of reverie and peace.
